WWF Armenia is acting as Implementation Consultant on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Republic of Armenia for the KfW funded “Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Armenia, Biodiversity and Protected Areas Component”. 

WWF Armenia now invites proposals from qualified consultants to provide the following consulting services “Developing National Guidelines for Protected Area Management Planning in the Republic of Armenia aligned with IUCN guidelines and other international best practice”.  

The purpose of the proposed guidelines is to provide a revised standard for development of Protected Area (PA) management plans that can be applied by those mandated to manage PAs in the Republic of Armenia. The guidelines will provide a practical, proactive, coordinated and standardized approach, aligned with international standards, best international practice and innovation, on how to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate management plans for protected areas. It is intended that they will be adopted as the national standard within protected area legislation. The overall intention is to improve and innovate protected area planning and management at all levels. The timeline for completing the activity will be 6 months.  

An Individual Consultant or a Firm will be selected in accordance with the fixed budget selection procedures described in the KfW Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Goods, Plant and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries.  

Proposals shall only be submitted electronically through the KfW approved electronic procurement platform www.exfitender.de .  Interested bidders should register on this platform (free of charge) to register their interest, download RFP documentation, submit clarification requests and to submit their proposal before the deadline.  

The deadline for submission of bids is January 12th 2026 at 12:00 (UTC +4 Yerevan time).
